Athena Renew is a specially formulated blend of acids, oxidizers, and chelators designed for the effective removal and prevention of scale and biofilm buildup in irrigation lines. This unique product is safe to use in irrigation systems, including drip irrigation lines, during crop cycle transitions.
Formulated with etidronic acid (HEDP), Athena Renew chelates and binds metals and minerals that accumulate in irrigation lines. It also contains high concentrations of food-grade hydrogen peroxide, which oxidizes and removes biofilm and organic buildup. This powerful combination offers a more robust and concentrated solution than traditional acid-based cleaners, ensuring optimal irrigation system performance and maintenance.

Irrigation System Purge:
For shock treatment in systems with biofilm or visible slime buildup, use Athena Renew at a rate of 1 fl. oz. per gallon of water. Let the solution sit in the irrigation lines for up to 12 hours, then flush the system to remove waste material. Follow up with Athena Reset to sanitize and disinfect the system before reintroducing plants into the cultivation environment.
