Description
The HI7061L is a general-purpose cleaning solution designed for a wide range of applications. Over time, electrodes can accumulate impurities and residues, leading to inaccurate results even if they appear to read correctly in a pH buffer. Hanna’s cleaning solutions effectively remove these contaminants from electrode surfaces, which may occur during measurements or improper storage.
Regular cleaning of the electrode’s bulb and junction is recommended to ensure the probe remains clean and to prevent clogging of the junction. Cleaning should be part of a routine preventative maintenance process to maintain electrode accuracy. Simply immerse the electrode in the HI7061L cleaning solution for 15 to 20 minutes, and it will dissolve mineral deposits and other coatings.
