Why Choose the Hanna HI98301?
-
Large Multi-level LCD for clear display
-
Rugged and reliable construction
-
Ergonomic shape for comfortable handling
-
Exposed temperature probe for quick response
-
Simple two-button operation for ease of use
The DiST® 1 uses an amperometric graphite electrode to perform TDS readings, providing superior accuracy and resistance to oxidation, which enhances repeatability. Unlike traditional stainless steel pin testers, the graphite electrode reduces polarization for more stable measurements.
Calibration is simple—just press the dedicated calibration button and submerge the probe in a 1382 ppm calibration solution. The meter will automatically recognize and store the value once stability is achieved.
Setup options include adjustable automatic shut-off (after 8 minutes, 60 minutes, or disabled) and temperature unit selection. These settings can be accessed via a button located in the battery compartment.
