Safer's Sulphur Dust effectively controls powdery mildew, rust, black spot, scab, and mites on vegetables, fruits, and flowers. It can be applied directly onto plants or mixed with water to create a spray solution. Safe to use up to one day before harvest.
Application:
Safer’s Sulphur Dust can be dusted directly onto plants or bulbs, or mixed with water for spraying. To mix, add 15 mL (1 tablespoon) of Safer’s Sulfur Dust to each litre of water and mix thoroughly. Stir the mixture while spraying to prevent settling. (15 mL weighs approximately 10 grams).
For Specific Plants:

Apples, Pears: Controls Powdery Mildew, Scab, and Mites. Apply from the green tip to the first cover spray. Reduce the rate by half for subsequent sprays. Do not use on Anjou or Comice pears.

Cherries (sweet and sour): Controls Brown Rot, Leaf Spot, Powdery Mildew, and Mites. Apply as part of a protective spray program from bloom to harvest.

Grapes and Strawberries: Control Powdery Mildew. Apply at the first sign of mildew and repeat every 10 days if needed. Avoid using on Concord grapes or other sensitive varieties.

Peaches and Plums: Controls Brown Rot, Leaf Spot, and Black Knot.

Currants and Gooseberries: Control Powdery Mildew and Rust. Apply before the earliest blossoms and continue through harvest.

Beans, Peas: Controls Powdery Mildew and Rust. Spray or dust at the first appearance of disease and repeat every 7-10 days as necessary.

Tomatoes: Controls Rust and Mites. Spray or dust when the fruit begins to set.

Roses, Flowers, Ornamentals: Controls Rust, Powdery Mildew, Black Spot, and Mites. Dust or spray every 7-10 days throughout the season.
